Il 5 aprile scorso, la Commissione Europea ha aperto una pubblica consultazione in merito a una serie di nuovi Taxonomy Criteria, relativi ad attività economiche che contribuiscono in modo sostanziale a uno o più fra i seguenti obiettivi ambientali:
- tutela e uso sostenibile delle risorse idriche e marine;
- transizione verso un'economia circolare;
- prevenzione e controllo dell'inquinamento, protezione e ripristino della biodiversità e degli ecosistemi.
La Commissione sta inoltre raccogliendo feedback in merito alla proposta di modifica del Taxonomy Climate Delegated Act (che riguarda gli obiettivi ambientali connessi alla mitigazione e all'adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici), come pure del testo normativo (Delegated Act) in materia di Taxonomy Disclosure.
La consultazione è aperta sino al 3 maggio 2023.
