Il 24 giugno scorso la Commissione europea ha pubblicato il primo Report di valutazione e revisione del Regolamento generale sulla protezione dei dati (GDPR).
Secondo tale Regolamento, entrato in vigore il 25 maggio 2018, la Commissione deve valutare e rivedere la legislazione due anni dopo la sua data di attuazione e, successivamente, ogni quattro anni.
Il rapporto finale è pubblicato insieme a due documenti di supporto:
- un supporting staff working document,
- una Comunicazione della Commissione sull'allineamento dell'acquis di terzo pilastro alle norme sulla protezione dei dati.
