PRIIPS: PUBBLICATO L’EMENDAMENTO CHE CONSENTE L’USO DEL KID DEGLI UCITS PER I PRODOTTI MULTIOPZIONE

Il 2 luglio scorso, la Commissione Europea ha adottato un emendamento⁽¹⁾ all’art. 18 del Regolamento Delegato (RTS) sui PRIIPs al fine di consentire alle imprese assicuratrici di continuare ad applicare, fino al 31 dicembre 2021, i Key Investor Information Documents (KIID), previsti per gli UCITS, ai prodotti multiopzione (cosiddetti MOPS), in coerenza con il trattamento degli UCITS stessi.

L’emendamento proposto è stato sottoposto allo scrutinio del Consiglio e del Parlamento europeo nei mesi di settembre e ottobre. Essendo trascorso il periodo di scrutinio senza che siano pervenute obiezioni, l’emendamento è stato pertanto approvato e pubblicato sulla Gazzetta ufficiale dell’Unione europea L 289 dell’8 novembre 2019.

Esso entra in vigore il 20° giorno dalla pubblicazione, dunque il 28 novembre 2019.
