“SOLVENCY II” RECEPITA A MALTA. NUOVE NORME SUI REQUISITI PER LE “FUNZIONI CHIAVE”

Il 22 dicembre 2015 l’Autorità di vigilanza maltese sui servizi finanziari ha pubblicato una nuova normativa (new single Insurance Rulebook) che sostituisce le 33 Insurance Rules precedentemente in vigore in materia di solvibilità (Solvency I).
Inoltre, con la modifica dell’Insurance Business Act è stata completata la trasposizione di Solvency II nella normativa nazionale(1).
In relazione a quanto sopra, sempre in data 22 dicembre, l’Autorità di vigilanza maltese ha pubblicato la seguente circolare:

Infine, il 4 gennaio 2016, l’Autorità ha pubblicato un nuovo documento – sempre in forma di circolare - contenente norme specifiche per la corretta valutazione di caratteristiche, requisiti, capacità e competenze richieste al management destinato a ricoprire incarichi “chiave” (Key Functions) nel quadro del regime Solvency II:
