DILLONEUSTACE - Ireland transposes Solvency II Directive into Irish Law (Nov. 2015)
Il 4 novembre il Ministero delle Finanze irlandese ha siglato il testo normativo (“Statutory Instruments - S.I. 485 of 2015, European Union – “Insurance and Reinsurance Regulations 2015”) che traspone la Direttiva europea “Solvency II” nell’ordinamento nazionale. Esso rappresenta il fondamento per la concreta attuazione, nel Paese, del nuovo regime prudenziale del settore assicurativo.
Le norme – che sono state pubblicate nella Gazzetta Ufficiale irlandese (Iris Oifigiúil) il 10 novembre – modificano la legislazione esistente sotto diversi profili (requisiti di capitale, tecniche di valutazione, governance, standard di reporting) e, in materia di vigilanza, ampliano le responsabilità in capo all’Autorità (Central Bank of Ireland).
